Why is it the sound of crickets that suggests there's nobody out there? Why not mice tittering or owls hooting? How about the little man in the moon whistling a long mournful wail at being alone... all alone... so very, very alone...

Hark! Was that a tree falling in the forest?

Here I stand, clapping with one hand...

...alone...

...all...

...alone...

Sure, but where has all three of my audience gone? Nobody commenting, no one disagreeing or misspelling...

Hey! I hear you're going to learn the bass. Go to it, big guy; we could use a good bassist.

sry, i've actually been commenting lots, but beta has been down, and since yours still in old blogger it's hard 2 comment.

yup, and boy am i excited! i always thought piano was a little dull,(don't tell my mum or mrs. swanson so i can't wait to try something totally new.

mom won't let me quit piano though, even though i don't know the notes and play/struggle by ear.

Trust me, it really helps to know the scale on piano. Piano helps with music theory better than any other instrument. The notes are laid out "logically" (or as logically as anything can be that starts with C instead of A). With guitar and bass, they're kind of all over the place. Even when you play bass, you visualize the note placement on the keyboard. It helps a lot.

Can you switch a blog over to beta or do you have to start from scratch?
