Such a Time as This

When we were in Montana a couple months ago, we met an incredible family with two kids who have become good e-mail pals with Ben and Charli.

We just spoke with them yesterday. The son, Collin, has been diagnosed with cancer. Was it a fluke that we met these people, or was God mobilizing a praying force across the nation for just this time? I choose the latter. Please pray for Collin and his family. He's going to Portland Oregon for treatment. He has a wonderful attitude but the family is realing, of course.

Pray
Pray
Pray

Thank you.

Cancer is tough(been there done that).
What kind of cancer is it? Helps to be specific in prayer. For me at least.

The cancery kind. Lymphoma or something latin like that. Ben can give the specifics (I figure God already knows)

Oh I know.

But if it's a skin cancer you pray that surgery goes well. If it's one of the many many that require chemo you pray that the chemo doesn't have such a toll on his body.

Etc. etc.

It's the chemo kind, BUT, they can't identify it. They know it's cancer, but the kind is mystifying them. Never heard of that before. He's an amazing kid, though, clearly rooted in the the grace of God.
