I'm sitting in my easychair with my laptop in hand. Lynette is at her laptop in the other corner of the room. She's reading a funny e-mail and getting a real kick out of it. So I ask her to send it to me, which she does.
Now, I could have gotten up and gone the eight feet to look over her shoulder, but instead I have her forward it to me, which means the e-mail bounces out of the house, shoots through the network to Timbuktu and back to my house just a few feet from the originating computer. This doesn't cost any money, or slow down anyone's server. With all the traffic on the superhighway, this is less than a mote of dust on a scooter's windshield, but still, SOMEHOW, this is a waste of resources. For SOME REASON it would have been better for me to get up and walk the 8 feet.
But I didn't. And while I confess, I'm not so sure I repent...

Well, so, you are lazy. I get that picture.
I don't understand your point. Is there a problem with sharing emails? You are conserving energy. Besides, true laziness is calling your spouses cell phone when you ae in the other room!
I believe it is "are" mrs. Young. Or should I say..."Anonymous" on my blog...
plus, doesn't mr. young do that sometimes??? but, he has an excuse. You have a big house.
It's ironic that comes 2 posts after the diet entry. Ray and I have our computers on opposite sides of the room and it's pretty pathetic. But we're fairly efficient :)
Sigh. Yes i'm just as lazy. Lazier actually. I prefer asking someone who's already up and moving to get something 3 feet in front of my face than to get it myself. That is true laziness.
Haha missy!
Ah! And how is gay Paree? Hmmm?
Paree is not so gay...rather humdrum, frankly. 'Desperately homesick, but getting settled. We've finally found a handful of homeschoolers here...3 families that haven't met and I'm hoping we'll all like each other and be able to support one another. HSing is NOT common here (but at least it's legal). 'Love to keep you up with you on your blog. Tracy
